Super Shed

For my second year studio project, the assignment was to create an art museum that would go in the parking lot across from the Art & Architecture building at the University of Tennessee, but each spatial bay had to be created out of five different pieces repeated and then break that repetition to create different spatial moments. Being handcuffed to only five geometries proved to be an interesting challenge, especially because this was my first time in academia creating larger scale inhabitable space. We were required to have a gallery, courtyard, sculpture bay and a gift shop in our program.
